About me

Hi, Ayanna here. I’m a graphics designer and illustrator who works with a wide range of media to reflect and comment on current social issues. I do commissions and collaborations with clients and artists for fun and vibrant illustration and design work including; poster designs, book illustrations, and page/cover designs. So if you're interested in my work just drop me an email. I have been exploring body image/diet culture and how these messages are transmitted through social media. This is part of an exploration of identity, both physical appearance and cultural identity/ethnicity. I use image-based and theoretical research to link these ideas with British consciousness and British identity and to celebrate the rich diversity the UK enjoys.

  Black History Month with UAL SocialThis was a project to bring Black History Month to life for UAL students living in Halls of Residence. I was jointly responsible for the marketing aspect of the project and I created social media content; exemplified in the videos. Poster designs are also included.
