I looked after merchandising/customer experience for 14,000 channel retail stores (all non Apple branded POS) - for 96 countries in EMEIA - during launch of any new product/software. Collecting launch day info from all core teams (finance, marketing, operations etc) such as merchandising asset details, timings, availability by country etc. Briefing all in-country sales teams & being on-call during implementation. Evaluating each launch - to insure constant process/critical path improvement.
Consulting placement to launch the Pyrenex Alexis Mabille designer collection at London Fashion Week. Marketing & PR – Managed the selection & design of the ‘Pop-Up’ shop. Raising awareness of Pyrenex within high-end fashion press. Organised press & PR event in high end Mayfair nightclub. Sales – Contacting & organising sales appointments for UK’s highest end retail buyers (Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Dover Street Market etc) as well as B2C sales.
Part of a team of 3 who managed a started up called 'Atelier Swarovski' with in the Swarovski umbrella. Working with the worlds leading fashion & jewellery designers to create small seasonal collections of jewellery & accessories - to be sold in the fashion multi brand stores worldwide. (Harrods, Dover Street Market, Colette etc) We researched new, up & coming designers. Brought them on board & briefed them fully as to the project & the vast collection of crystal available to them. We controlled the design & prototyping process, ensuring cost, time & standard were on schedule, before heading to Paris, NYC & London fashion weeks to sell to fashion buyers & promote to press. Following up with the manufacture & distribution of orders world wide.
Part of a team of 3 who managed 'Runway Rocks' catwalk shows worldwide - showcasing Swarovski's promotional jewellery collection. Working with the worlds leading designers to create oversized promotion catwalk jewellery - to show the world what can be done with crystal. We chose a market (Tokyo, Los Angeles, Moscow & Mumbai) - researched new, up & coming designers in that country. Brought them on board & briefed them fully as to the project & the vast collection of crystal available to them. We controlled the design & manufacture process, ensuring cost, time & standard were on schedule, as well as organising the packing & shipping logistics. We organised all parts of the event itself, venue hire, set design, music, lighting, model selection, invitations, press etc from the UK & then travelled out to the country for the last 2 weeks or so for final preparations & the show itself. Post event the press call outs etc of the jewellery pieces was then managed for 6 months or so.
