I am currently undertaking a research based Masters in Arts and Culture and due to graduate September 2015. My mode of research is practice-led and I am looking in to the role that sound can play in Institutional Critique of the art gallery. I am a critical thinker with an interest in all perception based arts, be that visual, aural or tactile. Alongside this, I have a strong sense of systemic organisation and an aptitude for working with and alongside others.

Our philosophy is to leverage the Internet and apply the economy of scale in manufacturing. So that even the most beautiful and high end furniture pieces will eventually become accessible and affordable to the masses. Currently a team of 200 staff and expanding across China and Europe, we are always hiring - 1 or 2 new talented and passionate new starters join us EVERY WEEK in all departments including Design, Marketing, PR, Technology / I.T, Finance, Business Development, Sales and Customer Services. I have been working in this capacity 3 days a week in order to fund my Masters Degree which I complete this September 2015. I have gained many skills during my time here from day to day admin duties to learning how to deal with complex employee situations. I have learnt a great deal about working with people, from those applying for jobs to senior members of staff.
In this role my responsibilities included, talking to members of the public about the Flypay service, maintaining relationships with participating restaurants, undertaking site checks and helping to spread the word about the service. This was a freelance role to support me in my studies.

The job allowed me to develop my people skills to a level that has benefited me no end since!
The MRes aims to equip students with the skills to construct a research proposal and undertake a research project, with training in areas such as research methods, the literature review, visual methodologies and approaches to creative-practice-based research. The research project is a key feature of the course, giving students the chance to apply the training to a personal research project. The MRes is distinct from most MA courses in its emphasis on research skills and training, and the value of these to creative and/or academic practice and the wider workplace.
A fine art degree with emphasis on Critical Theory and Art Practice. On this course I developed skills in Critical Thinking, Research and honed the ability to see a project through to a successful end. I graduated in 2013 with a First Class Honours degree and an 80 in my final project.
