I am a third year university student studying Performing Arts at Anglia Ruskin University Cambridge. I am currently working both academically and professionally as a stage and production manager: as well as a theatre technician. Skillset: I am proficient in rigging, general sound and lighting set up, setting up incoming companies during the get in as well as taking down during the get out: Also equipment maintenance. I am an experienced deputy stage manager creating the book and cueing the show. I also work as an propriety designer for shows. I have experience with QLabs, plotting mic’s and running sound for shows. As a stage manager I am proficient in: fire safety, fire proofing, and health and safety checks. I am an organised individual that schedules, books and attends each rehearsal through which a comprehensive set of rehearsal notes are taken. I was the production and stage manager for the Anglia Ruskin Theatre Society's Cabaret 'And the Rest is Academic' which showcased a variety of talent from the students at Anglia Ruskin University. My role included: Co-operating with the theatre society on the style and look of the show, running production meetings, organising, scheduling and booking rehearsals for each act, liaising with each cast member about themes, song, acts and dances which they performed. The Cabaret premiered at the Mumford Theatre, Cambridge on the 18th February, 2017.
On this production I was the Stage Manager and Property Designer. My duties included: attending rehearsals, producing rehearsal notes, running production meeting with the director and cast, creating the book, deputy stage managing the show, health and safety checks, fireproofing, prop management, prop sourcing and general footwork or sourcing items. 2016 brought Sean Lang's new play '1915: Dead in the Water' to life, it premiered at the Mumford Theatre, Cambridge on the 22nd of November 2016. The play is about the 1915 sinking of the Lusitania cruise liner in British water by a German torpedo.
