  • • I lead the Communications team in creating integrated and innovative strategies to maximise income whilst developing the widest possible audience and championing the Royal Court core values. • On the Senior Management team I contribute to scheduling, programming and re-pricing as well as setting and meeting budgets, targets, ACE applications and major decisions affecting the venue. • Proactively and supportively run a busy team of eleven (two part-time Marketing Managers, Communications Officer, two Comms Assistants plus the Sales Manager, Deputy Sales Manager and the Sales team), maintaining high morale and productivity. • Responsible for income and growth from Box Office, Memberships, Bar & Kitchen, Bookshop, Hires with proven results and working with our architects on the re-design of the Bar and FOH spaces. • As well as promoting West End residencies, Broadway and off-Broadway and regional and hyper-local UK and International Tours, I work closely with the International Department highlighting their programmes across the globe and with the Education Department’s extensive outreach projects. • Integrate the work of the Development team into the rest of the company, to increase donations, create pitch and secure dynamic partnerships and fulfill sponsorship packages, eg Coutts, Bloomberg and Sky Arts. • Apply a strong commercial approach to CRM and customer care, using audience insight to identify potential, sement the audience and increase income and fully evaluate all activity. • With a concentrated customer focus, I work to ensure the venue is providing an excellent service and constantly improving access provision. • Programming and communicating Theatre Local community engagement project, and Big Idea contextual strand of work. • Politically astute, I sit on the Public Affairs group, leading on building key relationships and lobbying. • By investigating and cultivating digital technology, I consistently ensure excellent presence and activity within tight budgets, making use of free and experimental platforms and ensuring my team’s digital knowledge base is exemplary. • I am heavily involved in press campaigns from junkets to press nights, press releases to radio and media nights, ensuring all strategies are effectively linked with creative thinking and strategic planning. • I sit on the Diversity, Access and Green internal steering groups. • I have an excellent track record for finding inventive and ambitious solutions. I work hard to ensure all communication campaigns, whether press, marketing or audience development are tied together and linked strategically, and work within an evolving brand.

  • • Created dynamic and measurable strategies to increase income and achieve audience development targets. I implemented successful creative campaigns to reach specific audience segment, achieving varied audience demographics for productions like random, Our Private Life, Posh and Get Santa! • Integrally involved from conception - sourcing and implementing of a new CRM System and building a brand new website and digital strategy. • Built high-profile media partnerships - from gay media and organising events at nightclub Heaven to working with the US Embassy, Elephant and Castle Shopping Centre, touring venues and the Association of British Druids. I've worked on several International Seasons, including work from Latin America, Germany, Latvia, Eastern Europe and India. Other work includes highly controversial projects such as Caryl Churchill's Seven Jewish Children, creatively innovative productions such as Mark Ravenhill's Over There, logistically challenging projects like Theatre Local and the huge commercial successes Posh, Jumpy, Clybourne Park, Jerusalem and ENRON. • I wrote creative copy and worked with our Design Agency to create striking sales images • Managed substantial budgets and met highly ambitious targets.

  • • Managing creative marketing campaigns on productions in all three of the NT’s theatres. Working in a close-knit team within a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining productive relationships with other departments. Managing large budgets for all aspects of marketing South Bank or touring productions, outdoor festivals, West End and non-show projects, exhibitions and catering offerings. (including The History Boys, War Horse and Coram Boy) • Digital: Briefing and supervising in-house and external digital designers on e-flyers, e-trailers and microsites. Developing the NT’s regular e-newsletter, and updating the NT’s website. Working with php and webbler systems to set up html emails. Set up of initial Myspace pages and facebook campaign. Closely involved in development of innovative Big Wall project with sponsors accenture. • Audience Development: Marketing all accessible performances. Expansion of Student campaign including management of re-launched Student Rep Scheme. Student nights, development of sponsorship (Corona), and stalls at Freshers Fairs. Working closely with Education on core projects, organising events for teachers and Student Open Day.
