Beki Gregory

Woven Textile Designer London, United Kingdom
About me
y name is Beki Gregory and I am a finalist at Loughborough University, specialising in Woven Textiles. My personal flare for weave is enthused by fusing unusual yarns and colour blends, both of which have helped to build my collections. I love to create vibrant and exciting fabrics and this inspiration develops from drawing and primary sourced photographs.
Projects
  • Secrets of the Sea
Secrets of the Sea‘Secrets of the Sea’ combines vibrant and exciting fabrics for Womenswear fashion. Taking inspiration from photographing a combination of eccentric textures and distorted water reflections created from sealife, my designs concentrate on complimenting rich, illuminating colour and pushing textural boundaries.  Using a unique mixture of yarns has enabled engaging and compelling compositions, to influence oceanic qualities. Developing detailed oil pastel drawings has given me relevant information to compose designs, through the intense use of line, shape and unique colour. My personal flare for woven textiles is enthused by fusing unusual yarns and colour blends, both of which have helped to build my collection.
