About me
I'm currently an undergraduate studying History at the University of Sheffield. I also work as an events coordinator for both the University's Students Union and Second Floor, a company I co-founded and which runs student club nights in Sheffield. I've had previous experience in the marketing industry at Mindshare, and ultimately aspire to undertake a career as a copywriter.
Alongside promotion work I represent intramural (society led) and social sport on the UoS Sports Committee, and am currently developing a marketing strategy to promote social sport for first year and international students. Furthermore, working with Sports Sheffield I have successfully established an intramural lacrosse league, getting over 60 students involved with sport.
My study of History at University has complimented my ability to prioritise innovation when approaching challenges. I strive to generate wholly original responses to any task, whether it's an essay or a creative brief.

Work history
Brand Ambassador
Brand Ambassador for Instant Impact, the UKs leading graduate recruitment company for finding talented students opportunities within SMEs and startups. Responsibilities and achievements included:
- Implemented an innovative strategy to obtain signups; by using sweets as an incentive was almost always successful in getting students to sign up.
- Recognised as a leading brand ambassador nationwide in the Christmas period, obtaining 880 out of a possible 1000 referrals during the 2015 quota
- Responsible for increasing brand awareness through social media
- Wrote content advertising a client's app for the student newspaper
Marketing Assistant
Worked with the University of Sheffield's Students Union's promotions team to help market union events to students. Responsibilities included:
- Worked with the marketing team to generate new ways of engaging students with events
- Endorsed union events to increase their popularity within the student community
- Successfully utilised social media to attract and grow a wider demographic of students to Union events
- Contributed to the Sheffield Union to keep its spot as the number one Students Union in the country
