- WOLF: The Testimony of Zvi Shmulevitch This book contains the full interview transcript my grandfather gave in 1981, during which he tells of his miraculous survival of the Holocaust. His words, only now translated into English, recount the horrors of being a lone teenager taken from his home in Czechoslovakia and sent to Auschwitz. Thanks to his cunning, resilience, and blind luck, his story tells of his eventual liberation from Dachau and emigration to Palestine. The design of the publication and its containing space seeks to echo the uncomfortable void his past occupies in the minds of those who knew him. Through this project I hope to preserve his account, which 71 years after the Holocaust, still bears significant relevance today.
