- 'Inside Track' Trailer for British AthleticsA trailer for a series called 'Inside Track' for British Heart Foundation. I all this footage and interviews to use but I wanted to create something quick that captured the quiet tension and intensity of living a life of training and grind all for very tiny, lightening fast moments of output and measure. I was really happy with this I think it has good atmosphere.
- Rockpanel Fire CladdingFor years I have loved using displacement and blur effects to give things a smokey or watery movement. So naturally when I was given a brief concerning things catching fire I knew what at least half the video was going to look like right away. I've done a million motion graphics in my life and this is a decent example of one I had fun with and was happy with the aesthetic turn out.
- Anniversary Film for NewberyOn a very limited budget the client wanted a piece that would celebrate 100 years of their craft. I wanted to make something that felt quite ethereal and had this atmosphere of glory and quiet intensity. I actually built it up from the script, and even managed to cram in a technique I love of repeating limbs over dark background (43 seconds). Considering the brief, budget and context I'm happy with this. I got to work with some great people and as usual had a great time directing.
- Music Video "Bukkake Veyron"I wanted to create a visual that would harmonies with the chaotic music to make this as much an audio/visual experience as much as it is just a music video. A short film with constant and rapid tension using promiscuous and painful texture to keep it exciting, uncomfortable and capturing. I'm really happy with how this turned out, the art direction is uncompromising and the mood is aggravating yet sultry and consistent. If I could make something like this every month I would never complain again
