About me
I create effective, research orientated solutions, garnered from multiple routes and refined through a complete understanding of the client’s needs. This includes challenging initial ideas, and pushing boundaries, shaping the outcome into work that is both function-fulfilling and aesthetically compelling. When approaching a new project it is always important to me to establish expectations and introduce questions the client may not have considered. In my two years working for the University of East London I took the opportunity to quickly develop project managing and design skills by interacting directly with clients from the initial brief to the final product. By working in this micro-environment I have taken on roles higher than my grade, consistently making creative and economical decisions, which positively impacted the University. We were one of the first universities to push the connection between impactful design and student recruitment, and in the last year have seen other universities applying this mentality. As our Creative Director worked part-time, I took on his key responsibilities both managerial and design-focused in his absence. By continuously working on freelance projects outside of my full-time role I have consistently pushed to develop and refine my own style and project managing abilities. I also co-founded and run experimental music record label Steep Incline, and create visual content that correspond with the sonic aesthetics of the world it inhabits.

I attended a foundation course at the F+F Schule für Kunst und Medien Design in Zürich, where I was introduced to a variety of art and design based practises. It was here I discovered a lasting passion for graphic design.
