Extensive 360 creative experience, working primarily within Fine Art, TV production, Entertainment and community for the last 15 years. My career has seen me use creativity alongside some of the world’s most recognised brands, companies, social enterprises and individuals. Over a ten year period these have included Microsoft, Vauxhall, Fitch Live, Channel 4, ITV, 1:54 African Art fair, Amnesty International and more latterly focusing my skills on helping develop a ‘Pan African’ start-up digital TV channel, from concept to a revenue generating platform with a current viewer ship in the 100’s of thousands.
Over 3 years, the key aspects of my role were: Establishing media partnerships with leading cultural organisations, sponsors, brands and agencies. Including: 1:54, the Africa Centre, Vevo, Sofar Sounds, BBC, SOAS, Brand Communications, and the British Museum. Assisting in the development and marketing of the in house CPD (corporate production department) to B2B/ B2C clients. Marketing Account Management across a developing portfolio. Contributing with targeted copy/ editorial for blog posts and featured content. Updating digital content using Content Management Systems and integrated design tools. Sourcing new content for the arts, discovery, lifestyle and emerging markets sections of the channel. Creating social media strategies and creating social listening reports. Assisting freelance production teams (editors, cameramen) in a producer/ director capacity. Managing budgets, implementation and planning for in house productions and events Advising on aspects of the channel's future aesthetic and digital branding.
