Managing a team of up to 12, my chief responsibility is to ensure smooth and quick velocity through the final stages of the rider onboarding process. This is achieved through ensuring that the training that both my team and the wider team receive is of a high quality, and that all processes are scalable and water-tight. Often, this involves liaising with the global team, so that processes are aligned in all of our global markets. My team are responsible for ensuring the riders documents are legally compliant - this involves me compiling audits and projects that allow the team to investigate and gain insight into different aspects of our rider fleet. A crucial part of this task is being accountable for such projects/goals, and driving these with enthusiasm and urgency - I frequently have to communicate with external stakeholders and other teams/departments in order to make this happen. During my time at Deliveroo, I have worked on several long-term and short term projects that have revamped and improved the way both my team and the wider department works, most notably: - Running several training and development sessions: with sessions on public speaking, performance and organisation and process improvement. - Coordinating the training and implementation of a new onboarding package and processes - Building and facilitating an interdepartmental cross training plan

Responsible for all recruiting, training and development through the company, both internally and externally. Managing a team of up to 5, I was responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our workforce. This involved giving several presentations per week, and then supporting, monitoring and documenting the process of successful applicants across several software packages. This aspect of my role was largely project based, with one of my most successful projects being re-designing and implementing a new onboarding process. I interviewed over 3,000 candidates here for a wide range of hospitality roles. Given the nature of start-ups, sustainability and autonomy was key here - I therefore have great attention to detail and am confident leading large projects.
