• Alzhiemers- Regression and RecognitionDoll therapy is an emerging technique that is implemented across many care homes in the country and has been proven to subside anxiety felt by dementia sufferers. Taking inspiration from a personal experience of whitnessing a relatives response to the technique, i have created a body of work that encapsulates the merging of the child and adult realms as a result of a sufferers regression in adopting child-like tendencies. The project reflects my profound interest in sensory materials as well as my desire to create the juxtaposed feelings of comfort and discomfort.
