About me

I am a London-based photographer and recent graduate from London College of Communication (UAL) with a Bachelor of Arts in Photography. My work is relative to general lifestyle, but occurring themes tend to be street photography, architecture, nature and travel. My main passions lie within analogue processes: shooting in film and print making and I am heavily inspired by photographic artists that celebrate the beauty in the mundane; I like to rely on the spontaneity of everyday experiences, people i meet, things i come across. I work well both in a team and individually and enjoy working with other’s work as well as my own. I have a dedicated work ethic and love organisation; I want to be able to enjoy my work and emotionally connect myself. I am interested in dipping my toes in many forms of work, not necessarily acting directly as a photographer!

Supervisor

The Rye

Sep 2015
  • London, United Kingdom
  • Full Time
  • Although not a creative job, i think it is very relevant and underestimated. I worked as a supervisor at a busy gastro pub in London for three years. I was expected to act with leadership as well as part of a team unit. I had to be vigilant and was able to spot and resolve problems quickly. I was used to be in a very fast paced stressful environment for 12 hours at a time.

Archiving and Social Media

Youth Club (The Subculture Archives)

Jun 2017 - Jun 2017
  • London, United Kingdom
  • Internship
  • Youth club work to encourage people to consider, talk about, celebrate and ultimately share and archive youth culture. It's a really great way for people, past and present to come together as a community, it's about self expression and creativity. MY JOB ROLE was essentially working with the life work of photographer Gavin Watson and digitally archive works considered most relevant to youth culture. This included a social media aspect, editing, uploading and tagging. Also did a little bit of a polaroid photography for a small publication Youth Club are putting together on subculture.
