I really do hope you take some time to look at my website and portfolio to find out a bit more about who I am and what I do, but seeing as this is an about section, let me write a few words.
I’m a designer, yoga teacher, and a foodie writing a vegetarian cook book. I have experience working in retail, hospitality, and travel - working across sales, PR, and marketing. Alongside all these jobs I have kept my passion for art and content creation alive by drawing, designing pieces both for myself and on a commission basis for individuals and start-up businesses.

Bland Street Journal was born in 2019 as a platform to share my design work. It started as a live mood board, combining photos with my illustrations, but it has grown into much more.
Under the name of Bland Street Journal I have begun hand printing onto t-shirts and up-cycling clothing, I have also done collaborations with small brands - creating merchandise for events, and logo and website design. I also work on a personal commission basis for wall based art.
Specific work I have been commissioned for includes the artwork for a mental health platform, the logo design for a record label, and the merchandise design for a environmental non profit organisation.

I was promoted to Senior Travel Specialist at Audley four months after passing my probation period. In this role, I work with clients to build their dream trip to Vietnam or Malaysia. Audley specialises in finding unique experiences, and it is wonderful to be a part of this process and to help create incredible memories for my clients. Specialist knowledge, a love for travel and the ability to listen and research is vital in ensuring that I know my countries and can pull together the right experiences for each person. Equally important to me is Audley’s focus on responsible travel, and having a positive impact on the communities we work with in Southeast Asia. Our holidays are tailor-made, so we often have clients approach us with special requests that need special attention. For example, I am often asked to work with our vegan clients due to my love for food and awareness of how to eat vegan well in this region.
It is vital that we maintain good communication with our suppliers and clients, especially through the turbulence of this year, therefore organisation and relationship building has been integral to my success in this role.
