About me
I am an experienced editorial assistant with five years of experience across both publishing and the arts. Outside of work, I continue my multi-disciplinary design practice. A large proportion of this work investigates themes to do with reading cultures and behaviours. My exploration and research into the relationship between public spaces, book and reader is what enabled my interest and route into publishing. My creative background has meant that I have mostly worked on illustrated non-fiction titles covering art, design and architecture, however, I have also had experience working on a range of children’s books, lifestyle titles and literary fiction. Although I most recently worked in a communications role which I did enjoy, I have come to realise that my main interests and strengths lie within the editorial side of publishing.
