I’m a dubbing mixer and sound editor with over twenty years experience in all areas of audio post production. I’ve worked on a wide variety of programming from animation and drama through to feature length documentaries. I also have experience of short form; sound designing and mixing promos, sizzle reels and online content.
I work remotely using Pro Tools and industry standard plug-ins. Production companies send through the assets for the project (OMF/AAF and guide pictures) to which I add sound effects and design, I then mix them down to create a crafted, well-balanced sound track for their video. This is then sent back as a wav or aiff for approval via fibre broadband, I then send through the audio split tracks.
This works extremely well for the client and myself, helping them save time, keep their costs down and gaining them greater flexibility.
This way of working also works well with post production facilities, acting as an overrun studio for editing, track laying and premixing when their studios are booked.
I also freelance for post houses and broadcasters in London, providing cover for holidays and helping out over busy periods.
