Currently I’m working as the social media and marketing manager for a small precision tooling company, which before I joined had little to no social media presence. It’s been a huge learning curve for me, however I have found that the creative skills that I picked up during my time at university have helped me immensely. I’ve been using Photoshop & various other Adobe creative suite programs to create informative posts to share via Twitter, Facebook & LinkedIn, however I’m looking to apply my skills to a slightly more creative workplace where there is more scope to have fun and create content that I’m genuinely passionate about. Alongside my social media duties, I am also in charge of the creation of our catalogues which involves a lot of communication with our graphic designer, as well as a variety of administration tasks.

I started freelancing when I began my Digital Photography university course at Ravensbourne, and have continued to work throughout my course and after my recent graduation. As a photographer, I have experience working both in the studio and on location, and using varying types of light. My favourite type of photography is anything involving people, particularly portrait, wedding and fashion photography however I absolutely love any time I'm behind a camera so I also have some experience in still life, commercial and tourism photography. I have worked with both Canon and Nikon systems, as well as the lovely Capture One/Phase One systems and am comfortable with most studio lighting. As a photographer, I'm also well versed in Adobe Suite, particularly Photoshop and Lightroom as well as many other computer based programs e.g. Microsoft Office and Google based software. Whilst at university, as well as some time after, I have been assisting a variety of photographers on their shoots. This has given me an insight into the way that different photographers shoot, and shown me how different styles and lighting set ups can affect a shot. I really enjoy assisting, as I feel that it broadens the way that I can look at how to compose and create an interesting photograph. I have worked in high volume studios, and have also worked on video creation & editing for various clients, as well as for my own personal work.
