About me
My name is Brad Gregory and I have recently graduated from Bournemouth University having studied Computer Animation Arts.
I have had extensive experience in creative working environments, both at university and elsewhere. I have gained experience working with high profile clients such as Premier League football club AFC Bournemouth, who required an animation to be created using the club’s branding, which would coincide with video content on their website. It was on this project that I realised a passion for combining my creative skillset with an interest in sport.
For my Final Major Project at University, I collaborated with a group of school children at The Brit School to create a short piece that brought their 2D illustrations to life in the form of 3D characters using 3D design software. I also worked as a concept designer and 3D artist as part of team that created a short animation that could be used for children’s television/film.
I have also gained work experience at Dewynters, where I was able to observe how digital design software such as Adobe Creative Suite was used in the creation of artwork for the advertising and marketing of global entertainment brands. In addition, I contributed copy to an ad campaign for ‘Wicked’. During a work placement at the National Theatre, I was fortunate enough to assist Head Scenic Artist Hilary Vernon Smith with Set Design for the production of ‘War Horse’.
I have had extensive experience in the fast paced retail sector and service industries. Working as part of a team for global brand H&M, I was able to communicate an extensive knowledge of the company’s products and services to customers, ensuring I was always well informed, helpful and considerate.
I feel my combination of creative working experience, and my ability to work with many different types of people, demonstrates that I could be an integral part of any team.
