Project managing the launch of an Alumni Membership Programme, including all logistics and marketing.
Responsible for marketing and delivering a complex, large scale events programme for Europe’s largest Summer School, attracting over 8,000 students. • Detailed planning and execution of over 90 events in a nine-week period, including formal welcome receptions, farewell parties, public lectures, sporting events, career workshops and excursions across the UK. • Designed a range of marketing material, including event calendars, email campaigns, and planned varied social media activity. • Strong focus on the enhancement of student experience, liaising and networking with key stakeholders to deliver a successful, collaborative programme of events.
Co-spearheaded the Guardian’s learning programme, delivering over 20-30 public masterclasses per month, as well as coordinating bespoke corporate classes for private clients. Worked with a range of industry experts to deliver high-level professional training, whilst simultaneously managing a varied portfolio of events, including media conferences, round tables, awards ceremonies and political debates. • Responsible for logistical planning, marketing and operations of all activities under the Guardian Masterclass programme. • Managed the delivery of over 260 classes, ranging from small intimate workshops to large scale public events. • Recruited, trained and led a team of casual facilitators to assist with the smooth running of the programme. • Executed a marketing strategy across a range of platforms including email campaigns, print ads, blog posts and social media. • Oversaw all aspects of customer service, including ticket sales, general enquiries, managed waitlists and distribution of pre and post course content and feedback surveys.
