I am seeking a position in Fashion Buying to supplement my postgraduate studies at the London College of Fashion.
Organize and host trunk show events at various universities across the country. This involves keeping in open communication with 75+ schools throughout the year, computing cost benefit analysis, exceeding sales quotas, coordinating travel plans, as well as creating and implementing successful marketing campaigns. Serve as a liaison between 28 retail locations and corporate office. Interview, hire and train applicants for corporate internship and store level management/sales associate positions, as well as motivate and re-train current stylists. Manage and resolve all conflict issues within stores and with clients. Plan merchandising layout and store displays to optimize store image and promote key products. Create compelling and unique trend presentations for the design team. Partner with design team/product development lead to create in-house product. Assist Buyer with imports: cost comparisons, purchase order forms, invoices and pre-alerts. Develop and maintain a favorable public image between the company and client through various social media outlets (Facebook, Instagram).
