About me

Bruno Rodrigues is a Graphic and Type Designer based in Stockholm, with a work focused on Branding, Typography, Poster Design and Art Direction. Presently works as a Senior Designer at A+X, but previously he ran his own studio in Portugal after studying Graphic and Communication Design, then collaborated with Studio Andrew Howard in Oporto and worked as Art Director and Graphic Designer for an independent book publisher. Was part of Bürocratik as Senior Designer and worked for Warner Music as Graphic Designer. Founder and Graphic Designer of Confooso and works as Creative Director and Graphic Designer for Arquente and other small cultural projects related to music and theatre. His work as been featured in magazines as Slanted Magazine, was awarded at Art Directors Club of Europe, European Design Awards, Clube Criativos de Portugal and Meios&Publicidade (with Bürocratik), among many other national references, awards and exhibitions.

• SCROLLSCROLL is an extempore theater play produced by ARQUENTE and happened at Teatro das Figuras, Faro.
• ABÉBIAABÉBIA is a young craft beer produced in Algarve, Portugal. This branding project is based in a typographic system created by a custom typeface called Arquivo. This typeface characteristics allows to create different graphic labels respecting the grid made for this label.
• Saudade — Tote BagTote Bag – Saudade, the love that remains for Slanted Magazine #27 for the Portugal issue. Saudade is a typical word in Portuguese that claims no direct translation in English. In Portuguese, “Tenho saudades tuas” translates as “I have (feel) saudade of you” meaning “I miss you,” but carries a much stronger tone. Saudade was once described as “the love that remains” after someone is gone. Saudade is the recollection of feelings, experiences, places or events that once brought excitement, pleasure, well-being, which now triggers the senses and makes one live again. • FIRST THINGS FIRST PosterFirst Things First is a 20 limited 100x70cm silkscreen and spray poster series printed at Lavandaria and it’s a tribute to the know Manifesto written in 1964 by several creatives from all around the world. Signed and numbered. Project here
