The love for fashion, film and the human form is evident in Koshoni’s works, which interrogate identity, culture and the body aesthetic. Taking an intimate approach to his subjects, his imagery celebrates personal narratives whilst creating environments that draw the audience into this visual journey. Koshoni employs a stylistic, humanistic approach to his subjects, resulting in a unique exploration of the human condition.
An award-winning commercial photographer, his portraiture has appeared in some of the world’s most highly respected publications, including, Vanity Fair, The Sunday Times Magazine, The Independent and The British Journal of Photography. He’s shot campaigns for, Panache Lingerie, JD Sports and OKUN Beachwear. As a commercial filmmaker, he’s directed films for Adidas, Sony Music, BMG Music, Universal Records and FHM.
He has exhibited both nationally and internationally, most notably, as a Taylor Wessing Portrait finalist with the National Portrait Gallery, marking his status as a world-class portrait photographer & as a Gold Medal winner with GOSEE Berlin.

Buki Koshoni is a British-Nigerian artist.

An award-winning artist, he creates visually captivating imagery, art that engages, excites and challenges.
As a writer, he specialises in screenplays, both feature films and television. Creating compelling characters and bone-crunching narratives, protagonists on a mission of revenge, revolution or redemption, within the genres of action, thriller & drama.
Before his move into the arts, for over a decade, Buki refined his curatorial eye as a photographer, for brands & editorial clients.
As an award-winning portrait photographer, his portraiture appeared in some of the world’s most highly respected publications, including, Vanity Fair, The Sunday Times Magazine, The Independent and The British Journal of Photography. He’s shot campaigns for, Panache Lingerie, JD Sports and OKUN Beachwear.
