Responsible for the processing and settlement of all mutual fund transactions made by FNZ’s clients. Processing hundreds of distributions, reconciling client positions and identifying and resolving a multitude of fund issues. As well as producing daily cash stats and ISA tax reclaim reports for clients. Requiring fastidious attention to detail, organisation and regular communication with clients to ensure the correct and timely delivery of client cash and assets.
Assisted owner and director, Simon Scott with the purchase and display of antique and contemporary furniture and artworks. Promoted sales through social media and performed market research for newly purchased contemporary pictures. Provided prospective clients with information on a multitude of objects and transported and installed them within their homes.
Picture research for a publication on the History of Philanthropy at Edinburgh University. Collecting nearly one hundred images and their relevant copyright permissions on an extremely limited budget. Regular communication with the editor and authors to ensure creative cohesion on the project.
Assisted in the promotion an cataloguing of renowned Scottish painter John Byre’s solo show. Responsible with the hanging of Charles Simpson’s solo show and the organisation of its opening private view. Handling and wrapping valuable stock. Including Emily Young’s sculptural exhibition entitled ‘Lithica’. Some pieces weighing over 1.5 tonnes and requiring specialised equipment for disassembly. Took part in the research and identification of newly acquired works, including a painting by Horatio McCulloch.
