I am an aspiring Musicologist and Journalist who is currently studying at Anglia Ruskin University with an in-depth knowledge of current and previous trends in both music and the industry. Boasting in depth analysis with a drive for unconventional knowledge I have a desire to make audiences aware of some of the more interesting topics in music.
I am also a musician, I play the guitar, I sing and have played other instruments including the Balinese Gamelan. I specialize in Rockabilly which has allowed me to branch out into its parent genres such as Jazz, Blues & Country. Having played at Anglia Ruskin University's Jazz Ensemble for over a year to using techniques such as 'Travis Picking' in my work. My aim is to be able to gain the skills to play both traditional and accented forms of music.
I have also played in multiple bands ranging from different genres both composing and session playing from my original Rockabilly and Jazz pieces to playing in psychedelic bands, rock and pop bands and ensembles of a more contemporary/modernist nature.
