The role includes, but is not limited to: Buying airtime for the advertising campaign I am entrusted with, involving the management of spots and monitoring of delivery and quality. Campaign management and monitoring, across platforms such as Google Analytics, Media Explorer and MS Statistics are within my remit. My experience with this software would make me readily adaptable to a plethora of campaign management software's. Building a rapport with a multitude of different sales houses (ITV, Channel 4 & Sky) to ensure we are delivered what we are owed from initial investment. The rapport also stretches to the client. I have compiled and delivered PCA work, summarising the strengths and weaknesses of our TV buying, and then updated the client with my findings. Regular updating and usage of computer programmes such as Microsoft Excel and Media Explorer. Delivering informative and engaging presentations of news articles or programmatic changes in Investment and Buyers meetings. I have received praise for my ability to present, a skill I have improved due to the frequency with which I am required to do so. An essential part of my success in the role has been my ability to plan ahead, allowing me to have the foresight to amend campaigns and ensure adequate delivery of ratings. Exercising my creative flair by creating a weekly spot time list to present to the client. This involves describing the programming being accessed by a campaign and writing about it in an accessible and engaging manner. In this role, I have learnt a great deal. I have grown within the role to oversee both TV and VOD advertising campaigns; I help with the training of newer members of staff and consistently provide assistance to my managers during challenging periods and audits.

My degree was an all encompassing analysis of physical and human geography, in which I favoured the human elements of the subject. Space and place, and the interaction of populations across boundaries formed the interest piece for my eventual dissertation on the effects of studentification.
