From January 2010, my role expanded to taking on marketing for the business reporting directly to the Managing Director. This includes: • Creating promotional and commercial newsletters for UK, US, Irish, Australian and Scandinavian markets. This includes creating the content of the newsletter, adapted to each market. Since starting this, I have doubled the conversation rate to 6%. • Creating e-marketing calendars for the European, US and Australian markets based on the average lead time for bookings and public holidays. • Management of social media platforms for UK, US, Ireland and Australia, growing followers to over 60,000 and significantly increasing engagement. • Creating content for any new offers available to customer for the UK, US, Irish, Australian and Scandinavian websites and keep content on sites up to date. • Reviewing customer feedback using Feefo and Trustpilot, resolving individual customer problems and improving the customer experience.

After finishing setting up the Danish website, my role consisted of maintaining the website and continuing to translate any new content. I also continued to grow our Scandinavian market sector reporting directly to the Managing Director. This involved: • Bringing on new ferry operators and negotiating commercial terms. • Providing customer service and engaging with Scandinavian customers. • Reviewing and developing the website.
