I was responsible for helping the Academy plan, produce and market Engineering a Better World, a global conference bringing national academies of engineering from around the world together to discuss the importance of engineering for international development. Key Responsibilities: • Planning concurrent events for a global conference, such as Young Engineers Day • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders • Promoting the event through social media and direct marketing (Campaign Monitor, app management) • Project managing the production of a video to promote the importance of engineering, featuring several well known identities including Bill Gates and Marissa Mayer
I managed the Zoos Victoria account as the primary contact for all campaigns, producing their ATL and BTL content (press, radio, outdoor, TV and digital, DMs, eDMs and print collateral). I also developed my copywriting skills, writing clear and engaging content, within a tight timeframe, for Zoos Victoria and other clients. Key Responsibilities: As the sole account manager of Zoos Victoria, I was responsible for: • Managing all campaigns from conception through to completion. • Establishing strong working relationships with my clients. • Producing copy to promote various annual campaigns and marketing material. • Developing a deep understanding of their brand to pinpoint the most effective advertising channels. • Briefing and guiding internal teams (creative and digital). • Liaising closely with creative directors to oversee the delivery of multiple integrated projects. • Adapting a flexible approach to cater to diverse working styles. • Managing various timelines (from clients, suppliers and colleagues) to ensure work flow efficiency. • Hosting client calls and meetings. • Managing account finances and resourcing; tracking budgets and raising invoices and POs, and using the projects database. • Sourcing a variety of talent for various projects. • Attending photo/TV shoots and radio recordings. • Despatching ads to a variety of media and broadcast channels. Programs used: • Campaign Monitor, Microsoft Word, Wordpress, Microsoft Office, Streamtime, Wufoo • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
