I am first and foremost a multi-disciplinary visual artist and designer specializing in knitted textiles, however consider myself a versatile and adaptable character, and thrive on learning new skills. In 2015 I graduated with a 1st class honours from BA Textile Design at Central Saint Martins, after which I spent a year and a half working as a freelance designer and knitter before moving to Mexico to work with and learn from local artisans and business entrepreneurs, as well as to complete a residency at the award winning Arquetopia foundation for which I was selected. My responsibilities included: highly specialized knowledge of fiber and yarn qualities, hand dyeing & hand knitting; assisting in promotion of events; admin & postal work; recording, packing and delivering online orders; construction and presentation of samples; stockroom maintenance and control; customer service and general shop upkeep.
Duties included: machine & hand-knitting; cording; embellishment & embroidery; tassel & fringe making; producing knitted garments and sculptures for a department store window display in Hong Kong.

After beginning an internship at PAZUKI Ltd. in 2012, I was asked to continue as a studio assistant. I continued to work for PAZUKI part-time, before eventually moving on to becoming a freelance knitter and knit designer for the company. My responsibilities included: liaising with & presenting product options to clientele; bespoke designing with and for clients; hand & machine sewing; pattern cutting & alterations; fashion illustration; styling & directing photo-shoots.
