Camilo Barria Royer is an award-winning Director and Creative Hybrid who specializes in conceptualize and develop ideas in the realm of visual narratives regardless of the medium. He spent over twenty years working with Comedy, Youth & Music, and Family entertainment in Latin America and the United States in roles as diverse as Art Director, Animation Director, and Creative Director, ideating and crafting campaigns, scripts, leading creative teams, branding, and short content. Passionated about telling authentic stories, irreverence, and achieve humorous, beautiful work that sparks a smile. Camilo holds a Major in Sociology, focused on Cultural Studies, Photography, and Latin America Studies from Universidad Central de Venezuela. He has broadened his horizons through filmmaking, production, screenwriting, storytelling, and courses in Design Thinking at IDEO. Recently, he has completed the Professional Program in Producing at the venerable UCLA's School of Theater, Film, and TV, and attended the legendary Robert McKee STORY Seminar to support his evolution in exploring the intersection of art and entertainment.
