About me
I'm a contemporary jewellery designer who graduated with a BA (Hons) in Silversmithing & Jewellery from Glasgow School of Art in 2021. My practice explores the relationship between the digital + physical realm, and investigates themes of play, technology and cyberspace. I specialise in 3D printed jewellery and digital skills, combining both new processes like creative coding and rendering with traditional processes like metalsmithing to create futuristic wearable pieces. For collaborations / commissions / queries, please don’t hesitate to contact caralowestudio@gmail.com instagram: @caralowestudio

In July 2018, I co-ran a set of local art workshops encouraging children to engage with design and construct their own objects out of alternative and recyclable materials provided to make hanging decorations for a Sensory Garden to be created in Glasgow’s West End. This involved planning and structuring the classes, communicating with other organisers, sourcing materials, setting up in an outside space and engaging with the public.
