Administrative Assistant
Working on reception in Sheffield Hallam Students' Union I am the first point of contact for a range of people; students, parents and members of the community. It is my role to attend to anyone who enters the Union.
I also attend to admin duties within the Union. I answer phones, book rooms, help organise activities and take and receive messages.
Marketing Intern

I provided support for new product launches, promotional campaigns, PR events and any day-to-day activities within the marketing dept as required by the team.
During the busiest time in Valspar’s calendar year I managed a complex communications project, which involved a three-week campaign of direct mail, incentives, surprises, and competitions to B&Q store staff and regional managers. I had a tight deadline and budget in which I had to source and distribute all the necessary items.
I worked on a nationwide in-store campaign to promote the launch of Valspar's first UK TV advert.
Alongside this I helped organise a pop up cinema event in B&Q's head office to premier the advert and create excitement around the launch.
I further developed my event management skills when helping organising Valspar’s first UK National Conference.
I also maintained the Valspar Pinterest page, actively seeking out new content to be uploaded fortnightly.
