UPH specialises in luxury wedding transportation, corporate travel and bespoke Scottish tours in a fleet of prestigious vehicles including Rolls Royce, Bentley, Mercedes-Benz and Audi. Reporting to the directors, I was responsible for daily operations including: client relationship management; developing and implementing a multi-channel marketing strategy; extensive diary management; and overseeing a team of 13 professional chauffeurs. Key Achievements: Successfully managed day-to-day operations for all weddings (x90 in 2016), corporate work and events including The Open 2015 & 2016, The Ryder Cup 2014 and The Scottish Business Awards, ensuring all customer requirements were met and expectations exceeded, leading to repeat business from key clients. Developed, implemented and managed the associated budgets for the corporate marketing strategy, including website, social media content and design of wedding brochures, resulting in an increased online presence and subsequent 36% increase in wedding sales 2014-2016. Organised UPH’s presence at large scale, key promotional events & exhibitions, including co-ordinating with partners and suppliers, enhancing brand awareness and leading to a substantial growth in our target marketplace (24% increase in enquiries at The Scottish Wedding Show, The VOWS Awards finalist 2015 and The Scottish Wedding Awards finalist 2017). Oversaw the end-to-end development of new business for our fleet of luxury vehicles, increasing customer base and turnover (19% increase in turnover 2015-2016). Built and developed professional relationships with fellow suppliers, going on to work together on luxury brand and bridal photo-shoots for print and online advertising (Luxury Scottish Wedding, To Have and To Hold, Multrees Walk Edinburgh). Facilitated the upgrade to and roll out of a new chauffeur booking system, client portal and chauffeur app.
Responsible for the initial selection, set-up and management of Xero Accounting software as well as training new and existing staff members, streamlining the company accounts. Prepared fortnightly reviews and briefed the directors on sales figures, performance and cost trends. Carrying out all day-to-day financial duties for the company, recording and reconciliation of all financial accounting transactions and management accounting for the company in Xero. Managed key local and national accounts by developing and maintaining strong client relationships within the executive sector of the business and organising travel for their clients and VIP/international guests. Acted as the key contact for all wedding business, working with couples from their initial enquiry through to their wedding day. Assisted the company directors with interviewing new chauffeur applicants. Produced a ‘Chauffeur Guide’, outlining all company policies/procedures and developed and organised training for new employees. Designed and maintained the company website through WordPress CMS, ensuring content was accurate and up to date, all copy met the high standards of the company and regular updates were made.
