Groups, Conferences and Events Sales Executive
• Successful enquiry handling and conversion of all last minute Groups, Conference and Events (GCE) enquiries to the standard required and within the agreed set time frames.
• Conducting efficiently the daily operations of the Groups, Conferences and Events department, in order to maximise revenue and achieve monthly budgets.
• Ensuring that all arriving bookings have sufficient credit facilities for payment or full pre-payment, prior to arrival date.
• Management and successful execution of all internal booking requests.
• Preparing, updating, producing and communicating all relevant reports, as requested by the Business Development Manager or Director of Business Development.
• Communicating and ensuring distribution of the daily change logs, daily sheets, signage, and daily detail reports.
• Conducting pre-booked and walk-in client show rounds gathering all Event requirements.
• Building positive relationships with clients to effectively drive sales.
• Meeting individual and team targets as set out by the Director of Business Development and the Groups, Conferences & Events Manager.
• Delivering ad hoc projects or tasks as requested by the Line Manager or General Manager
