Woven Textiles Design

Translating designs on paper to woven samples, suitable for Interior or Fashion production.
In this course, I was able to research into trends, gather primary research, keep up to date with techniques and designers to gain knowledge within the field.
Whilst studying weave, I had hands on experience in fabric dyeing, measuring yarns for task in hand, source natural dyes, learn how to set up a loom for weaving process and hand weave.
I also gained experience in Jacquard weave, to design from CAD and translate to woven sample.
