Position included advising Interior Designers and walk-in customers on textiles for large and small scale custom residential projects. Regular merchandising of the store, inventory control, ordering and receiving merchandise, setting up custom workroom orders for furnishings, Regular meetings with Sales Representatives from Textile/Bedding lines for buying
Responsibilities included putting together proposals for clients- private tastings, corporate gatherings and aiding in marketing events. Planning of each event from writing the proposal to executing the event and overseeing employees. Leading all of the private chocolate and wine tastings.
Putting together sample requests for clients, general upkeep of the showroom, aiding the sales team in setting up custom sample packages for potential clients.
