I was bitten by this "brands bug" when I was really young. I was always intrigued by not just what led a company to its goals, but by what created a connection between it and the consumer. My professional ambition wants to add fuel to creativity and create a story that our actual network society won’t just Like and Share, but will Remember.
Tasked with Special Projects that were vital for the Joint Venture between GSK and Novartis, helping them become the biggest Consumer Healthcare Company in the world. To answer to the lack of interest, reformulated the Winning Performance Awards 2014 to a more dynamic format by putting forward audiovisual pieces with the Senior Leadership Team. Part of the team organizing 4 simultaneous Global Town Halls in different corners of the world (US, UK, Switzerland, Singapore), which was Live-streamed to other company sites. Liaised with the in-house design and digital media teams as well as third-party production teams, creating briefs, scripts, video flows and supervising their work. Connected with international Communication Departments in order to make sure that global campaigns were synchronized. Wrote several articles concerning new projects, new product launches, market researches and overall business performance and research and development pieces
Led a small team in a pioneering digital commercial start up, I was able to understand the core of a company and to work “from scratch” on its marketing and image policies in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Created its online and offline marketing strategies to introduce the product and the brand to the public for the very first time. Developed the company's creative approach by determining the tone of its look and feel, the approach to content and customer relation strategies, in digital and offline collateral. Created 70% of connections with partners, stakeholders and clients. Created, edited and updated web content, PR and Marketing material, and social media posts in both English and Portuguese.
After the great feedback from Eurovida Insurance's Communication Department, I was transferred to Banco Popular's Unit of Marketing and Image. After that, I worked as a Commercial Assistant for the bank. Planned campaigns alongside third-party creative agencies and supervised them from their first steps in product launches and marketing collateral. Analyzed ad campaigns and strategies from competitors and their social media impact, and relayed their reports to the Executive Committee of both companies. Heavily involved with the rebranding process of both bank and insurance company, being in charge of the market research and analyzing and editing proposals by agencies. Organized the company’s presence in local and national events as a host and as a sponsor, managing logistics, budgets, human resources and other details.
Selected by the Government Trade & Investment Agency to the INOV CONTACTO International Internship Program. Did Public Relations for the European Grouping for Territorial Cooperation among elements of the European Committee and people of interest in the EU. Organized local and international events, taking care of content, design, scheduling, budget, human resources and logistics; I also managed contacts, shipment and assemblage of marketing equipment and stands, event and guest logistics and attendance. Managed sponsorships and friendly relations between local and international institutions and companies of relevant interest. Planned an international three-day tour of seminars across three cities of two different countries while leading a small team and supervising work with third-party providers. Took care of the EGTC’s activity online and in social media, creating and updating web content and engaging on several platforms.
Internship at the Brand and Communication Department, working in online and digital marketing and communications, where I gave my first steps in B2C communication and brand management. Contacted and supervised third-party agency’s work, editing its content to publish it online. Created the concept and proposal for the launch of a national web platform for international entrepreneurs interested in international trade, contacting therefore partnership managers, public relations and event organizers. Worked as a writer and an editor and managed contacts and relations of people of interest to be approached in the articles of the website. Created the first imagery and written content for the platform.
