About me

I am a Digital/Web Designer with 10 years experience in the design and web field with with a BA in Graphic Design and a MA in Web design and Content Planning. I've got experience working in several London agencies including BBC. I'm happy creating visuals layouts as well as prototyping and coding in HTML5 and CSS3 with a responsive web design approach. I have experience working along side with a team of Designers, Marketers and Developers, being in my last job, part of an international team, where I created promotional emails, on-site promotions, landing pages, banners and social media assets. I also got strong eye for usability and pixel perfect layouts. My tools of preferences are Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sublime, Dreamweaver and I feel confident creating wireframes/prototypes, as well as using responsive frameworks such as Foundation/Bootstrap.

Projects

• Latin CreativesThis was my thesis project for the MA (University of Greenwhich). The concept was to create a showcase for Latin American artists and designers. I covered every aspect required to bring a website to life, market research, wireframing, UX, logo design, layout look and feel, photoshop mock ups and front end coding.
• interface for video PlayerLocation-based video clip player that dives in to the BBC archive made in flash. We created a website where the navigation is circular surrounding the map of England.
• Website Design and DevelopmentBaha Parali is an Architect/Designer who required a website to show case his design work. Together we created a minimal look and feel. A white background with minimal text ensured the focus was clearly on his products. I proposed a responsive website with a slide show, large images on the home page together with a gallery divided into sub categories in which he could display his varying range of products.
• Website Design and DevelopmentMy Client SDNA needed a redesign of their website. So far I finished the wireframes, the rapid prototype and the design. Development is work on progress.
• Emails DesignMy role at FitFlop was to design newsletter to promote their product
• Responsive landing pageMy role as a Digital Designer was to design in photoshop the Desktop, tablet and mobile version of a Landing for Bally, Luxury Fashion brand.
