About me
Hello! I'm Caroline and I have a deep fascination for the law, development, and design. I've done some pretty cool things, such as winning the most visually appealing poster in an LSE competition to 'Redesign Democracy'. My photography has been featured on the VSCO curators board four times, and my online portfolio has received over 3,000 project views and 420 appreciations. In five years, I hope to be combining my creative and academic talents, doing something I feel is making a genuinely positive contribution to the world, and having fun whilst doing so!

Culpeper Community Garden provides a break from the bustle of London life. I volunteer on Monday's, which involves facilitating art activities for members from the local Mind Centre. Now and then I also get involved in gardening work, and have learnt to complete funding applications (such as the Tesco's Bags of Help Campaign).

The Circle is an NGO and women's network based in London. They do some amazing work, and pride themselves on bringing women with a range of skills and talents together in order to find create solutions to the alleviation of inequality and poverty around the world. For CARE UK's #March4Women, I designed the placards carried by The Circle. In addition, I was asked to create a graphic image for the Menstruation Matters movement. I also volunteer to help with set up for some of their events, where I've met some pretty outstanding and inspiring women.

Studying Anthropology has offered me a perspective of world issues that takes into account the everyday lived realities of those affected by specific practices, laws, political ambitions, and social norms. I love my course, and feel genuinely excited about the content I have and will learn. In the first year of university, I attained a 1st. My results for the second year are still to come. At the LSE I have had to take the compulsory course LSE100. This has inspired a interdisciplinary perspective, where I have been encourage to think about world issues from a variety of academic perspectives; from international relations, to economics or anthropology. In the first year of university, I attained a distinction in this course. My overall grade is still pending release.
