About me

Hello, I'm Caroline I've been a Graphic Designer and Artworker. I am currently involved in drawing and craft together with working at Apple using my customer service and interaction skills finding solutions I worked at Local Dialogue as a designer on their current campaigns for ongoing developments in the UK. The major clients I worked on were National Grid, Sainsbury, KFC, UCLH, Wrexham Power Limited and a number of other ongoing property developments including Catalyst housing. I designed infographics, site information maps, leaflets, posters, banners, feedback forms and signage, used to support public exhibitions informing the public about ongoing developments and proposals.  I was responsible for maintaining a collection of design case studies and company information pages for presentations. In addition I have a range of print management skills which I picked up while working at Solways Printers I was involved in correcting artwork, sending out pdf proofs for clients and making plates for print production, processing and despatching orders using PrintPak as well as maintaining a database of clients. I maintained the company WordPress site and blog. I gained knowledge on processes such as foil blocking, embossing, thermography and duplexing My skills include Adobe Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop with particular interests in typography, layout and photography.  I graduated in July 2014 from Shillington College London, a studio based graphic design course run by practising designers. Earlier jobs included a junior designer position at Logorunner Design Studio in Saffron Walden, internships in Saffron Walden and then in St Albans. While working there I was involved in creating branding, order forms (layout and typesetting), stationery, business cards, client visualisation, promotional leaflets and posters.
