Studio Manager

This was a change of career from being a secondary school teacher. I decided to use my outstanding planning and organisational skills in a different way and started as a studio manager for an award winning lighting designer. Six months after starting, the business owner was forced to stop working due to a difficult pregnancy, so I took over all aspects of the business. I was therefore in charge of customer service, quotes and orders, suppliers, staff, quality control, general studio managements, deliveries and budget. I delivered 70% yoy increase in monthly revenues through consistent client engagement and insuring delivery of outstanding quality in product and service. I created databases which allowed I also planned and set up the Decorex Trade Show 2016 where I met new clients and created valuable new leads for future business. I created databases to optimise client engagement, manage suppliers, and drive impact of limited staff and resources.
I am a strong team player. I enjoy making sure everything is ready at the right place and at the right time for the team to move forward and work efficiently. I create strong relationships with people in and outside work.
