I conducted qualitative research for Santander's University Internship Scheme, which aims to pair students (who want experience) with local start-ups (who need extra resource). I wrote my own questions and interviewed those who took part in the Internship Scheme, compiling responses into a final Case Study which was presented to Santander on the Scheme's 10th Anniversary Event held at Cardiff University in June 2017.

Selected from over 120 applicants, I interned at the "Top 10" agency for 12 weeks as part of the Big Break scheme. During this time, I rotated between various areas of the business including Account Management, Strategy and Production. I quickly got stuck in as an Account Exec where I assisted on global projects like Sky Broadband and Despicable Me 3 from day one. I also worked on Sky's sister brand NOW TV, where I was given fantastic opportunities to research and present competitor news to media agencies. A real highlight was having the opportunity to work on a 30" B&Q TV ad from start to finish, where I took complete ownership of product sourcing and flights/transfers for the whole crew. Look out for the ad, which went live in Sep 2017! (Shameless plug). ..... I also starred in a OOH poster for the launch of Candycrush Australia (shameless plug #2).

Education
    BA English Language & Communication
     - Cardiff, United Kingdom
Modules Studied: Communication Disorders (1st Hons) - I researched the devastating effects of Alzheimer's Disease (AD) on an individual's ability to communicate. Many people with AD lose the ability to tell/recall stories, which can severely restrict their capacity for meaningful conversations. Putting myself in the shoes of a Speech Therapist, I suggested various ways in which loved ones could adapt their communication to alleviate distress and restore a sense of identity in an individual with AD.
