Alumni Development Officer

Hatfield College

Sep 2015 - Sep 2016
  • Full Time
  • Within this capacity I have produced a number of promotional materials on a range of new digital and traditional media platforms. This included the production and maintenance of a website, blog, Facebook page and parent catalogue for prospective candidates to the College. I utilised a diverse range of writing styles to make ensure each campaign was impactful and would identify with a specific audience, whether this be a young graduate, parent or an elderly alumnus. The blog and website may be found here: I spent a great deal of my time working to reengage alumni with the College and I increased donation to the College by 60%. I created a highly effective campaign designed to highlight women’s sport within the College and spearheaded a campaign which led to the purchase of new boat for Hatfield College Boat Club’s women’s squad. I also organised two major events for the College including the Rowing Ball which raised over £20,000 for the Boat Club and the Lion In Summer Ball, which reengaged over 300 alumni with the College. I have good experience of networking and building relationships with alumni and feel very confident approaching important alumni.
