About me
Cate was brought up in a Military family, which has caused her moved all around the UK. She has recently completed a Photography Degree at Plymouth University, before that she had previously studied in Bristol for two years.

Projects
- BlumenIn this series Blumen was created in response to the idea of Preservation; Cate is studying Pressed Flowers and how they have been preserved. The style of the series is pseudo-scientific and clinical. An experimental study of a specimen shows how their aesthetic changes with the attempt to capture and preserve their beauty for posterity. Cate took inspiration for her series from Irving Penn, Robert Mapplethorpe and Linus Lohoff.
