After many years of sitting in front of a computer and feeling the need to get back to the crafting days of my youth I started Colour My Dreams. Finding my bag full of yarn, knitting needles, crochet hooks and macrame cord in my loft rekindled my love of macrame, knitting and crochet and I decided to give them another try. It was like riding a bike - you never forget, but you have to complete a few rides around the block to get your balance again and regain confidence in your physical abilities.
Whether it be my skills as a designer or a crafter, I've got a lot of years of knowledge and practise to draw on. I'm loving every minute of rediscovering some old techniques, learning many new ones and finding a fresh, enthusiastic generation of crafters who love creating in these relaxing and satisfying ways.
