Why after disappearing all this time … I am firing up my big love with writing, speaking, painting and creating again?

What if the blank canvas, life supposedly starts off with … In fact wasn’t blanc at all???
That in fact it already was outlined with edges, a certain frame, … based on origin, religion, the social environment you were born in, or an “anomaly” in your DNA, a scenario that would define a quest in your life, a big disruption on a personal level!” (excerpt of my TEDtalk in Klagenfurt-Austria 2016)
This is how I started off my Tedtalk, not so many years ago. Together with the publication of my biography, a point in my life that created a potent momentum full of promise and possibilities for new directions to take …
Actually it made me walk my path in pure authenticity, full of oxygen and light … Guiding me to find my soul’s true DNA and talents, encrypted in my blueprint, tools to turn life around.
Not only for myself, but awakening a mission to pursue!
However, heading for uncharted territories confronted me with a new dimension within society’s reality.
Not that society had changed all of the sudden, after all reality is a construct we illustrate by the means of our own perception. But I had chosen to step into a new “reality”, in a new country where no protective screen nor support were present.
Friends and acquaintances from all over this big blue football, were writing the most beautiful words of support and their believe in me, but when one is not entirely ready to truly feel those words from within the own perspective … The time isn’t quite right yet.
Driven by the idea of having to stick to the pursuit of a career, fuelled by logical thinking, ambition and so much more,… I started job hunting again, after having taken a wonderful sabbatical in the south of France, which confronted me with a narrow mindedness beyond measure, still alive and kicking on so many levels of professional life. Practical thinking and essential needs made me choose to broathen my search, not focussing on finding a job leveling my experience and aspirations …
Without realising it straight away, I had thrown my own advice and partly my authentic self overboard, to tag along in a life raft,… For? Later on …?
However I have to state, that the job I landed, might not have been the kind leveling up to my potential… But I had the absolute privilege to become part of a team which soon felt like a family, making me commute every morning with a big smile and realising what’s of true importance in life.
The only reason I’ve quit that job a while ago, is because life came in between.
Life, telling me to retreat and re-evaluate once more …
Thanks to the subtle motivation of a few people in my nearest environment, slowly I started writing some poems again. And later on, a friend who challenged me on trying to paint … It is through the expression of our artistic self, that we’re taken on a valuable journey through the inner depths of everything we represent as a soul, a person … the obvious and obscured alike.
Maybe the biggest realisation I’ve had lately ( … Yes, “thank you for the hints” sweet friends of mine …) was that I started asking myself, why on earth would I want to pursue a professional life that doesn’t deserve me and my talents … A professional life which had spit me out a few times because of the lack of evolution, or me getting bored as soon as the challenge wore off.
And at the same time, having this inner yearning and whispering, just wanting to live authentically by the virtue of the talents that truly make me happy … And on top offering the fulfilling privilege of putting a genuine smile or emotional tear on someone’s face once in a while.
So here we go … This is me, saying “YES I DO” to my bright, authentic self again.
