About me
I am a Welsh speaker with a keen interest in museums, heritage, research and education. I have worked in a variety of sectors in Cardiff including with Social Services at Cardiff Council, the Welsh Parliament, and as a freelance English tutor in schools across the city. I have experience as a Learning Facilitator at the National Museum of Wales, and for Artes Mundi. I have worked on various heritage projects, most notably with No Fit State Circus. This work has involved research, communications, curating, content creation, and public engagement activities, as well as evaluation work. I have a BA in Social Anthropology and an MA in Museum Studies. In October 2020, I will begin an MSc in Research Methods, followed by a PhD in Sociology, at Cardiff University. I intend to pursue a research career relating to heritage and education. In my spare time, I am a keen poet and photographer.
