About me
I’m a 19 year old student recently graduated from The Brit School with a Distinction in the UAL Production Arts Level 3 Extended Diploma, specialising in Costume Design, Construction and Wardrobe Management.
I am very keen to get into the industry, particularly TV and Film work & I’m really eager to collaborate with other creatives to gain experience and build a well rounded portfolio.
Projects
- A modernised take on 1920s BerlinThis project was my modernised take on fashion in Berlin during the 1920s. The design process for this project was heavily influenced by the theme of Exoticism - when it becomes "fashionable" or a "trend" throughout European art and design to romanticise cultures from far away as it seems to have a quality of 'mystery & excitement'. In particular it was very interesting to follow Eastern cultured being mirrored and imitated through Western Fashion during the 20s & and how political climate of
- Hofesh Shechter - CostumesI collaborated with Hofesh Schechter Company to contribute my skills for their "Political Mother: Made in Croydon " project, in association with The BRIT School. I styled, sourced, fitted and altered costumes for over 75 performers. all costumes were inspired by the original, critically acclaimed dance piece ; Political Mother. I was very conscious of colour, fabric texture and layering for this performance
