I'm a writer/producer at Box Plus Network (a joint venture between Channel 4 and Bauer) currently producing promos for music television channels, 4Music, The Box, Smash Hits, Magic, Heat, Kiss and Kerrang. Previously I have produced live and post-produced music & entertainment shows for MTV, VH1, Channel [V] and Max, as well as served as a website editor & producer for channelv.com.au.   • Producing & co-ordinating on-air promotions across the Box Plus Network (formerly Box Television, Emap Television) portfolio of seven music television channels (4Music, The Box, Kiss, Heat TV, Kerrang, Magic & Smash Hits), airing across the Box Plus portfolio as well as the Channel 4 network (Channel 4, E4, Film4 and more4). Channel launches: 4Music & Heat TV. Channel rebrands: 4Music, The Box (twice), Smash Hits (twice), Magic TV (twice), Kiss TV (twice) & Q In my years at Box Plus I have been the sole in-house Promo Producer responsible for taking promotions from initial concept, through scripting, design, directing, editing, audio & final multi-platform delivery as well as managing the work of a team of freelance producers. I have been responsible for implementing key systems & structures into place and working with marketing, scheduling, online & transmission teams to delivery fast turn-around work at a standard befitting some of the UK's premium music brands. Key campaigns have included the GRAMMY Awards, Broad City, The Teen Choice Awards, the Kardashians, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Peep Show, Anger Management, 2 Broke Girls, Party Down South and V Festival with budgets ranging from £100-£20,000 per promo.   • Producing live & post-produced TV shows across MTV & VH1 Australia. Programs included the launch of MTV's flagship show ‘Total Request Live: Australia’ (broadcast live from a boat in the world famous Sydney Harbour), the ASTRA Award winning 'MTV Live: Wolfmother' (ASTRA Award for Most Outstanding Music Program or Coverage 2007), VH1 Australia's first fashion show, ‘Inside Track: Australian Fashion Week Special’, client-integrated specials such as ‘MTV & Billabong Present World Junior Surfing Championships’ and the inaugural ‘MTV Australia Music Video Awards: Red Carpet'. I also wrote & directed shows such as 'MTV Screen', 'Advance Warning' and written news copy for mtv.com.au.
