About me
Hello,
My name is Chakshu (the meaning of my name translates to eyes) , I am 23 years old who is passionate about life and is driven and accomplished marketing, advertising and public relations executive who is adept at planning and executing successful PR campaigns.
My love for communicating and advertising started at the age of 14, where I along with my friends started a social youth club in my residential area. Our club organised social events, festivals for kids of our age who were not only staying in our premises but also in the nearby areas. We used to raise funds through different donations and drives that we organised for the residents throughout the year.
At the age of 17, my passion for digital world drove me to create my own online networking business. I launched ''LUXFINE JEWELLERY''. The business model was to get connected to different online jewellery retailers in different locations and create '''Oneness'' among the resellers. I along with the help from my dad was able to create the community of 1000 users and generate revenue for about 30,000 USA Dollars, but because it was taking too much of my time and I needed to concentrate more on my education . I turned it over to my dad to handle it.
At the age of 20, I started my own instagram page chakshubohraa which was about '' Being Yourself'' . I started posting content around mental health, fashion, lifestyle, skincare and beauty. Today, the page caters to 80,000 people with an engagement of 10%. Because of the page , I have partied and engaged with almost all A listed influencers across Mumbai and UK

- Alter Your MindAlter Your Mind is a campaign to encourage young people, from 18-25, to alter their mindset and change habits in relation to their consumer behaviour. £140 million worth of clothing goes to landfill each year and extending the life cycle of a garment by just 9 months can significantly reduce this. If we change our behaviour, we can have a positive impact on the current climate crisis.
